Domain Name

A Domain Name is your website's signature. Like http://www.kodibeardesign.com is ours. In the past the Internet used IP(internet protocol) addresses to access websites. Which were a series of numbers pointing to a server.

If fact that is still the way it is done. But now Domain Names are attached to the IP address making it much easier to remember.

Registering a Domain Name

We will help you register your Domain Name and point it to your host's servers. We recommend Godaddy.com to register your Domain. But we do not register it for you.

The reason for this is you need to own and control your Domain Name, not a hosting or design company. The industry has to many black eyes from unscrupulous designers and host company's, registering a Domain for you, then Hijacking it when you want to leave their company.
